Just an elder millennial trying to adult with ADHD in Northern Virginia
I’m writing this blog to share my personal journey with ADHD. It’s for anyone with ADHD, those who suspect they might have it, or anyone supporting someone with ADHD. I’ll share personal stories, reflections, failures, lessons learned, more failures, and hopefully some wins. I am hoping that this will resonate with those who, like myself, just never quite fit… who were always told “Just do it”, but never quite could. If any of you out there actually read this and feel what I am saying, you are my people.
I myself wasn’t diagnosed until after 40. I started my journey, and started feeling seen. Now if you’ve never struggled with that, you have no idea what the big deal is. But for me it was huge.
The goal of this blog is to create a supportive, relatable space for anyone on their own ADHD journey. It’s a place to feel understood, share resources, and celebrate progress—no matter how messy it may be.
